ACON Low Carbon Management Policy Statement

ACON adheres to the concept of continuously creating and improving employees' environmental awareness and occupational safety and health performance. While building customer trust and profits, it pays more attention to social responsibility, environmental protection and occupational safety and health related activities and management systems. the implementation effect.
We are well aware that the earth's climate and environment are gradually deteriorating due to the multiplication of greenhouse gases. As a member of the earth, and in order to fulfill its corporate responsibilities, ACON will be committed to promoting the direction of greenhouse gas management from now on. we promise:

  • 01
  • Continue to save energy and reduce carbon to protect the earth's ecological environment.
  • 02
  • Introduce and develop low-carbon technology, promote the reduction of greenhouse gases in the supply chain, and reduce carbon emissions from the source through green design and green procurement.
  • 03
  • Through the greenhouse gas management system, continuous improvement to develop low-carbon products.
  • 04
  • Carry out education and training and promotion of weight reduction actions to fulfill corporate social responsibilities.
  • 05
  • Commit to carbon information disclosure and become an important partner for customers in reducing greenhouse gases.

Greenhouse Gas Inventory

In the face of the issue of global warming, ACON first task is to first check its own total amount of greenhouse gases. Therefore, in the 1998 and 1999 of the Republic of China, the greenhouse gas inventory system was established in the Shenzhen Longgang factory area and the Taiwan factory area respectively, and the year was set as the carbon management base year of the factory area, and the ISO 14064-1 was complied with by an external verification agency. Standard inspection. Every year after that, each factory will comply with the ISO 14064-1 standard and independently complete the greenhouse gas inventory of scope 1 and scope 2 in the previous year, which will continue to serve as a reference indicator for carbon reduction strategies.

Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction

In order to effectively grasp the usage status and energy flow of major energy consumption, ACON conducts tracking management and improvement, thereby reducing energy costs and operating energy resources usage, and then refers to the international ISO50001 energy management norms. Establish a "Global Smart Energy Management System" within:

  • Import the ISO50001 system and build an energy management framework.
  • Establish real-time total power supply, major energy-consuming equipment, box-type air conditioners and other power monitoring systems to optimize the load operation of equipment.
  • Perform light environment analysis and simulation to improve ambient lighting.
  • Build a detection and monitoring system for carbon dioxide, temperature and humidity, and illuminance in the workplace, and build a fresh air system based on the environmental comfort (PMV).

By integrating energy management information with intelligent technology, the factory area can effectively improve the efficiency of environmental resource use. In addition to responding to the world's energy-saving and low-carbon trend of operation, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions through energy conservation, it fulfills its social responsibilities as a citizen of the earth.

Do not use conflict minerals

The Group requires that the materials provided by itself and its suppliers do not use conflict minerals from conflict areas in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and that the contained metals are all in compliance with the conflict-free specification (DRC Conflict-Free). The Group will thoroughly investigate all materials and material supply chains of suppliers to ensure that metals such as gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tungsten (W), cobalt (Co), and tin (Sn) are not passed through anarchists or illegal groups , extracted from mines in conflict areas of the Democratic Republic of the Congo or obtained through illegal smuggling.
